IOS 16.2 Advanced Data Protection not activated in Scandinavia?

Right now, it doesn't appear to be activated anywhere outside the US. It isn't in Canada as well.

Since the EU now is formulating regulations allowing access to all messages and pictures on users' mobile phones then I think that this functionality will never appear in Europe - as never in China as well...
Interesting.. and if there is access to this, where would this data be stored? Because depending on where, these regulations could come into conflict with GDPR.
