iMessages has always been e2ee, texts aren’t.

End to end, but with Apple holding their own decryption keys. I was hoping I would be able to hold onto those keys now with my messages.

All Home users have updated ALL their devices to the latest OS, and only me, home owner, is able to access Home accessories. Unable to add others to the home too… they receive the notification but it does not add them to the Home.. anyone else experiencing this?

YES! Exactly the same problem. Unsure what to do at this point!

They get the invitation, accept (and appear on the owner’s device as a resident briefly before disappearing), and then nothing happens.

Fixed. Restarted all HomePods and the main AppleTV, plus both phones.

Just had to do a restart. I hope this isn’t going to be a “thing.”

Installed 16.2 yesterday (Tue), couldn’t make a call today (Wed). Instantly kept popping-up a window “Call Failed.” This is while showing 3 bars or 5G+.

A reboot fixed it.

The compass inverted bug is still there from iOS 7 😂 (also exists on watchOS since the beginning)

I'm not reporting it this update or ever again. Have dropped a report every point release since iOS 8.
