iOS 16.6 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Took its time but thank goodness 16.6 public beta 3 dropped yesterday!

The performance, lag, heat & battery drain are much improved on my iPhone 8. Much better device to use now! 😄

Something happened with my iCloud backup 😂

And after I deleted the backup, is telling me I don't have enough space. Hm

PS. My backup used to be somewhere between 6 and 7gb, as i dont sync my photos.

I fixed it. For some reason, Photos was checked inside the backup.

I've encountered issue with Apple Maps, where 3D view could be only activated when viewing Satellite mode. For the remaining 3 modes (Explore, Driving, Public Transportation) the "3D" button does not appear when close enough to the surface.
You have to switch to Satellite mode, then activate 3D and then switch back to Explore mode to experience the 3D mode. Once you switch back to 2D the button disappears again.

My AOD constantly turns the setting off by itself.

Can't relate, i'm barely hitting 6h SOT and used to get 10h on iOS15.
I even filed a feedback and it shows that there's more than 10 similar reports so that has to mean something.
At least there's a hope that beta 4 will help a little 🤷🏼‍♂️
