It’s called Signal. How about iMessage for Android?
My experience as well. When we had a couple android users in the friend group we used whatever flavor of the month Google chat app (which I hated). Then thankfully they agreed to switch to Signal. Now that everyone is on iOS we still use Signal for group chats most of the time, iMessage the rest. Not a single person I know uses WhatsApp, unless they absolutely, positively have to. (Not to say anything negative about it; just that it’s not universal.)
I know I’ve never used WhatsApp.I don't think I have ever used iMessage (at least intentionally), as everyone I know uses WhatsApp.
With that, I feel like you're not in the US. In the US, everyone uses regular SMS/iMessage. I don't know anyone who uses Whatsapp.
How about iMessages for Linux, Windows ?How about iMessage for Android?
Whole Europe uses WhatsApp and nobody uses iMessage over here, only vor 2FA SMS or other SMS, but to communicate with people, everybody uses WhatsApp or Telegram. So its exactly the oposite here, the US has about 330 milion People, Europa has about 750 milion people, so the US is not the centre of the world, like many of you believeNot a single person I know uses WhatsApp, unless they absolutely, positively have to. (Not to say anything negative about it; just that it’s not universal.)
