It will be nice to just travel with my pro controller for long flights. Currently carry both pro and ps4 controller. I wonder how button mapping will work for local and remote games like X Cloud.
Never had a problem with mine
I also have the nimbus controller. Too be fair I’ve had it since 2015 so it’s served it’s time. However when I got a switch at the start of the year I was disappointed to find out that it wasn’t compatible with the switch. I have a third party one now which isn’t compatible with iOS and no doubt won’t get the update. I guess it’s time to get the pro controller. The only question is for tvOS. I bought Nimbus but it is waste of money to get an iOS only controller. Specially when I got my Nintendo Pro one.
I know you’d be kidding, but even a taped joycons would make any iPhone a Super Switch. Switch was outdated before it was released. I mean it’s good for what it does, but I feel with Nintendo it’s always maximum profits, minimum effort. If there wasn’t for their most popular game series they’d be long out of business. Now just jerry-rig them to the sides of your iPad with a bit of duct tape and hey, you got yourself a Super Switch™
Would you mind ellaborating?Cool but these pieces of 🤬 hardly even work with the Nintendo Switch well enough haha
I really hope so! I have been reluctant to buy one of the supported controllers just to try some of the Apple Arcade games since I already have four Switch Pro Controllers. So maybe for tvOS too?
Would you mind ellaborating?

You're literally the first person I read complaining about Joy-Con "even working well enough". I've read about Joy-Con drifting, but "even working well enough" is a first for me.
I'll wait.
No more a sign than they will purchase Sony or Microsoft because they added DualShock/Sense or Xbox controller support...Is this a sign that Apple will purchase Nintendo soon?
Yeah, as expected: it's a non-issue.Well drifting = does not work well enough as I basically loose in every Mario Kart tournament because of that. My character would suddenly develop a life on its own and always drives towards the left or right side of the screen or on Animal Crossing, the character would start walking on its own
How is that a non issue 🤣🤣🤣🙈 you literally use the Nintendo Switch to play … guess what? games! How is that a non issue when your controls don’t work to play reliable 😅🙈Yeah, as expected: it's a non-issue.
Move along.
