Then how come the closer a beta gets to a GM the lower the letter? There was never a jump to GM from an "e" or a "d" build.
I'm genuinely interested to know if there's another explanation.

There were RCs/GMs with c builds and up AFAIK.

There were also horrible a builds that bricked your phones call function.

Because as things progress typically there will be less changes so less of a chance that something they did warrants a new edit. There have been builds that go direct to release from higher letters. 13.6 was a “c” build just before release.

Does the control panel pull down not still show the percentage on those devices on iOS 16?

By 13.6 things were pretty refined already for iOS 13 that they didn't bother to further refine it but this is the first release of a major version.

Uh? Yeah it does but that wasn’t the question 🙂

This one is probably close to final. It's a b build and Apple will need to start loading 16.0 onto iPhones that are already being manufactured. And then we'll get that typical .0.1 release on the day that phones are released.

Can anyone with the health mate app see if tapping on a metric e.g weight actually shows you the details instead of crashing in beta 6?

Just installed Beta 6 and Healthmate works fine when tapping on a metric.

Edit: I had the same problem as you on Beta 5 so it looks to be fixed.

Just installed Beta 6 and Healthmate works fine when tapping on a metric.

Edit: I had the same problem as you on Beta 5 so it looks to be fixed.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who had that issue. I can confirm that, at this point, mine is now showing sunset. We will see if it keeps working or gets stuck at some point.

It never changed for me in Beta 5, always showing the sunrise time, but not the sunset.

FWIW, here the sunset today was at 20:44 or 8:44 PM.

Had anyone noticed playlists from Apple Music on Mac (15.6) aren't syncing with iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 (beta 6). Not sure if this was happening in any previous betas...
