Can't unsee that now. Thanks! Is anyone else seeing this?
1. Sniffing my fingers
2. Oh wow, that wasn't good, here you smell them
3. Do you dare me to lick them?
4. Silent but deadly
5. Boogers taste good.
6. Too much tequila

Apple could afford putting time and money on all the features simultaneously. They just choose not to, just to spite us probably since they can get away with it.
But memoji is good for business. It keeps young people happy with iPhones. And not only young people use memojis. It's not a bad decision on Apple's part.
I'd love a windows 98 type "add/remove features". There is a lot of the iOS that'd be blown awayApple should turn off this nonsense.
Yeah, I mean the Memoji Team should do HW..... / SHow much storage do all these take up? I’m guessing not a lot since they are small but I have no use for any of them. Is there a way to remove all this bloat?
How about devote more time elsewhere - like for Apple TV or AirPower or anything else!
Sounds a lot like “Gerrofff my lawn!” To meOh yay...more settings for these ugly little things...
Seriously Apple what is your obsession with these abominations? I never see anyone over the age of 15 use them, unless they were hardcore an Apple Sheep.
Not just contacts, but Twitter, and these very forums. Literally everyone I have ever met who had a memoji pfp has not only been a (word I cannot say due to forum rules) but also has had some of the worst tech takes I've ever seen, and go out of their way to phone war whenever they see anyone using an Android device. It's why I hate these avatars besides how ugly and uncanny (and limiting) they are compared to other avatars such as Miis. Just seeing a memoji activates a primal fight or flight response. The only good thing about these is they help me figure out who in my contacts is normal and who is a tool. So they have one good use.

I mean, squeezing money out of a rabid and irrational fanbase is not exactly a bad reason.I’m sure apple is out to spite its customers for absolutely no good reason.
I mean, Apple just finally implemented an OS X version of InputSprockets. So you never know, there might be hope.I'd love a windows 98 type "add/remove features". There is a lot of the iOS that'd be blown away
Well, we also got a polio vaccine, Civil Rights, and the Internet. In the 1950s they promised us flying cars. This is what we got.
I was being sarcastic. If you want to reflect even only 50% of all of the facial features and combinations out there, it's a lifetime task for a bunch of developers. If Apple needs personalized Memojis for their younger target audience, they'd better implement the solution mentioned above: Create a true personal emoji from a picture/selfie!
Apple is aggressively marketing their neural engines - let the machine do the dirty work! Keep a couple of standard faces for other emojis, but save the developer's sanity and assign them tasks they can actually complete in a reasonable amount of time.
Yeah took me awhile to figure out how to actually make a Memoji when I first got my phone. A dedicated app would have helped.Secretly love memoji’s but Apple seriously needs to create a standalone app to work with these![]()
There are LOOOOOOOOOTS of folks under the age of 15. And, in 30 years, they’ll still be in the market where they’re making decisions regarding purchasing new Apple products. That’s a pretty valuable group to delight.I never see anyone over the age of 15 use them, unless they were hardcore a Apple Sheep.
The thing I don’t get is the mask Memojis. Just what is that supposed to be for? Is it a passive aggressive superiority thing? It was appropriate for people using them in a field…like a dentist or something. Maybe just to be fun (it that’s your laugh). But I suspect it’s an I’m better than you or an look how compliant I am statement. These Memojis have the ability to be more decisive than Twitter. I don’t know. I just think they are a thing for immature people that live in a fantasy world. Everyone I see with them is either off their rocker a bit anyway, or too behind the curve thinking they are the cool thing to do and need to look “hip” to their friends. Adults and these just don’t make sense to me. I was happy with just having an AIM buddy icon. Maybe I’m just too old to get it. We don’t need to hide behind a virtual avatar. We can be ourselves. Not just contacts, but Twitter, and these very forums.
