ios 16 compatibility with Mac OS Monterey

I could not find any answer - is IOS 16 on iphone/ipad compatible with Mac OS Monterey on macbook? Previously it happened that e.g. Notes had to be upgraded on both devices.
Unfortunately Apple drops support for my macbook pro, plan to upgrade is next year.

On Monterey and 16, can immediately see a note typed on my phone on my mac and vice versa if that's what you mean?

There's nothing new in Notes AFAIK so it should in theory work across different versions.

Dunno about Monterrey but I've lost AirDrop from my iPad and iPhone (both on 16) to my iMac on Mojave.
