Five minutes before seeing this article, I was trying to find how to switch on the Battery Percentage on my 13 Mini.

So far, I don't see it as a Lock Screen widget either, just one for Watch Battery Percentage.

Yeah that’s the weird thing about iPhones, somehow they all seem to differ in how well they function. My entire 11 Pro feels smoother than ever before. The only error I found was the scheduled e-mail I set up for this morning to go out as it was 29 minutes late. lol.
If it keeps being an issue I'll just do a clean install which is usually how I install the major updates. I never seem to suffer with any issues going down the clean install route....

I gave to say, I was dead impressed with the lifting subjects out of images, it's incredibly quick and although it's not always 100% perfect it's still pretty amazing nonetheless.

So lifting a subject from an image, and dictation, require the A12 Bionic, which is iPhone XS and later, but the call and video live dictation requires the same A12 bionic, but doesn't include the XS? I ask, because this feature could be useful to me, as my hearing isn't the best, and I don't know if this is available.

If "Live Captions will work on devices with the A12 Bionic chip and later, which includes the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, the second-generation iPhone SE, and iPhone 14 series devices.", then Live Captions should also work on iPhone X. However, from what I can gather, the statement should actually read, "requires A13 Bionic (for iPhone) or A12 Bionic (for iPad)".

At first, the percentage didn't show on my iPhone 12 Pro -- I had to go into settings \ battery turn the percentage on.

Live Captions is available on iPhone XS as well.

Very glad to see that my trusty Xs is considered "newer" for most of these features. I was not expecting that. I would have understood if not.

You know I actually went back to no battery percentage. It’s really obnoxious not visually depleting with the percentage. Seeing a full green battery but it showing 59% causes me consternation.
Mine is never green. Just white or black.

The X has an A11, and thus isn’t compatible.

So far the only new feature I care about is the battery percentage directly in the status bar. That should have been there all along. What took the Apple designer morons so long to listen to customers?!? The ARROGANCE is great with them...but the FORCE is weak.

Better than having constipation I suppose
