Ios 16 lag in games

I only play one game. Mario Kart Tour and its completely unplayable on my 14 Pro. It stutters a lot. Ive tried resetting, reinstalling the game, erasing the iPhone etc. Never an issue on my 13 pro and im out of ideas. Anyone know?

Tried lowering to 60. Low battery mode. Nothing helped

currently tried playing mobile legends on my 14 pro max, and it feels laggy too the frames feel like its really unstable and i never had such an issue even with my previous xs max. not sure whats wrong, the phone itself or the ios16

hmm i really hope not, i went on reddit and saw many people who have updated to ios 16 facing lag while playing games, so i hope its the new software update that is behind all this.

I saw the same. I cant play MKT at all or Pokemon Go

Pokémon Go has never been smooth on iOS from my experience, it's much smoother on my S21 Ultra the 13 Pro Max is laggy for no reason when playing.

So glad to have found this, i have the 14 pro max too, ML sucks on IOS 16, also the settings on the fps are just up to High settings, and fps drop is so annoying, didnt have this issue on my 13 pro max before, but other games like Marvel and LOL are smooth.
