iOS 16 Speculation Thread

Seems quite late for the 16.2 release, I wonder if they will add the new emoji in a later beta as we usually get those before the end of the year.

I suppose with freeform being built in to the OS it will require a lot of testing.

I really wouldn’t know. Not to sound like a complete t$*t but I have never really taken any interest in the 0.1 increments.

They come out sporadically as and when they are needed. So even harder to predict than the actual point release betas.

Question really is… what major bug is out there effecting a lot of people that needs to be fixed with it?

Stuttering in 14 models as a start.

The volume buttons not working while on a call with the proximity sensor active and the alarm clock Lock Screen widget not working. Yes, I get the occasional stuttering when swiping home but I wouldn't classify it as a major bug.

I predict we'll see a 16.1.1 released either the wk. of the 8th or 15th.

Yeah that needs to be fixed. Unless Apple thinks that people get annoyed pressing them whilst on a call, so this is the new style. Which would be very annoying.
