I just installed the iOS 16 beta on my iPhone XS with a broken FaceID sensor. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to use many of the widgets on the Lock Screen such as Calendar or Activity without having the phone in an unlocked state. Thus, the new "feature" is essentially useless if the phone's biometrics are broken at the moment. Has anyone found a way around this?

Go into Face ID & Passcode settings, and toggle on 'Lock Screen Widgets' found under 'Allow Access When Locked'.
I need to go into this because I think it got changed with the beta because my iMessage notifications no longer show the content when I unlock with FaceID

I just want to show my sleep data without having to stare into the soul of the iPhone. It's not that much of a "Private Information".

Is there a fix?
