Just tried and yes they areCan someone confirms while open FaceTime app that the microphone and voice options are visible in the Notification Center even without mailing a call?
Is anyone having trouble updating to RC I’m getting this error.
“Unable to verify update” iOS 17.1 is temporarily unavailable. try again later.
Wow why has this never happened to me? Are you using stacked notifications or list?
It’s actually quite great for me.How’s battery life?![]()
Hasn’t happened to me. Have you filed a bug report ?Awful 😂
System location services reset again.
I’m not sure that’s accurate. There may be screen burn in issues that are not present in the newer phones.
plus, doing AOD at full power would result in burn in

Burn in is on OLED onlyMy phone has an LCD screen; never heard of them having burn-in.
What about those who use their phones for hours at a time during the day; do they get burn-in? The standby clock could shift a few pixels every minute or so if they were worried about burn-in.
That’s the thing with so many bugs, only because there is no personal experience with it, doesn’t mean that the bug is not existent. You mean the bug I’ve never seen?
Oled panels have become way more robust compared to the new ones from 5-10 years ago.Burn in is on OLED only
even on my tv sets I never had burn in and we’re talking about 4000 use hours
But it also make me wonder what their usage pattern is that makes the bug happen for them but not meThat’s the thing with so many bugs, only because there is no personal experience with it, doesn’t mean that the bug is not existent.
You must of downloaded a bad update. Go to your settings> general > iPhone storage and delete the update file it should be iOS 7.1. After you do that go back to software update and download the file again and it should work.Is anyone having trouble updating to RC I’m getting this error.

It can be usage pattern, or specific apps that cause an issue but often there is no discernible reason for what causes an issue on a specific device. I’ve had several that I could find no reference to on any site or forum yet were fixed with a subsequent ios release…who knows? Currently one serious issue, there is an ongoing thread about it, is that some of us cannot sync our phones to our macs since ios 17. I have a 15PM and from the moment I got it activated I noticed this. Finder ”sees” the device and I can make a backup with no problem but syncing always stalls out whether connected by cable or by WiFi. The only way to get a sync to actually happen is to disconnect the cable from the device when the sync begins to stall and then plug it back in which will trigger an actual sync that then completes properly. That also means that syncing over WiFi is impossible since it’s the cable disconnecting and reconnecting that triggers an actual sync. But it also make me wonder what their usage pattern is that makes the bug happen for them but not me
Turn on low power mode.So far I haven’t experienced the stutter/lag when I swipe down on the home screen to check for notifications. Previous betas had this for me at least
YesHasn’t happened to me. Have you filed a bug report ?
It’s just unbelievable that they haven’t been able to fix this yet. It’s actually kind of pathetic, TBH 😖nope - saw it today right after updating to RC
Don’t they do AOD by dropping the refresh rate down to an absurdly low rate? It’s not simply a matter of how much power they can push thru it.
plus, doing AOD at full power would result in burn in
