iOS 17 Adds 20+ New Ringtones and Text Tones for Calls, Messages and Alarms

For those not in beta, bored and/or unable to wait until next week, is there place where the new ring tones can be heard?

I spend so much time every few months going through all of the ring and text tones finding ones that fit the mood, then never once do I ever hear them afterwards.

When I got a Fold3 I was impressed with the deeper customization options in that way — again, never once heard them again after setting. Love it!

Wow, these are actually pretty awesome, some of the ringtones are great. I created a ringtone based on the song Time by Hans Zimmer for the Inception soundtrack, I can’t give that one up just yet!

I wish I knew how to share them or a place you could listen. Perhaps someone on YouTube has or will shortly upload some samples. There’s great variety and they went all out. There are a TON of new ringtones, text tones, and alarms.

Well there is either a bug in the RC, or Apple stripped customer notifications without warning.

I can still use my custom ringtones for the actual phone call, but now under messages/voicemail/etc I can’t see ANY of my custom tones, only the iOS installed ones.

And simply going into the menu to look at tones changed it to None even though I didn’t select anything. So if you use a custom tone for anything other than phone lines, do not go into those options or it defaults to none.

Assuming if you bought official tones they would still be there, but I don’t have any of those.
