iOS 17 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Otherwise smooth long install. Phone stopped getting warm after a few hours and a reboot later. Minor glitches here and there and little caesars app fails to do anything.

I did the same. Moving around the living room getting my other half to step in and out

I don't see many threads on iPad OS 17. Is it also as fairly stable and usable as iPhone iOS is right now?

The only beta I am staying away from is Sonoma as there's usually a lot of third-party software that has to be upgraded to work under it.
 
Sonoma is working fine for me, but I don't use a ton of third-party software and nothing like little snitch which I know always gets broken.

Other than not being able to select a specific device In the battery widget I've not noticed anything too bad on my iPhone.

The only other bug I think I'm seeing is I don't seem to have iCloud tabs in Safari at the moment, is anyone else seeing them?

Thanks. Little Snitch is the biggie for me. However, they are pretty quick at getting an overnight update put together. I wonder if this will be the year they demand a charge to upgrade. They tend to do that every few operating systems.

I just had a go, had never added shape before, I worked it out quickly, as per the attached.

Draw your shape and hold your finger on the screen and it neatens up to a perfect shape.

Is that what you mean?

So my camera stopped working, it only showed black screen and then i restarted my phone and then it gave me error of non genuine part where as my phone has never been opened and is under AppleCare+. Anyone else seeing this?

I do know about that little trick, but I was referring to the adding of shapes — we got it sorted out a few posts back. I’ve got the hang out of now, but it’s definitely a more involved process than it was in previous versions of iOS.

Always thought that + button was for more brushes, I rarely need to edit screen grabs, so I’ve learnt something today. Thanks Man 👍🏼

30 days to get a refund, no? Apple are pretty understanding with that kind of thing. Just explain you only wanted it for iOS Dev build testing/personal use.
