Hey all. I have an iPhone 15 pro max running iOS 17.0.2. The issue I am having is, when connected to wireless and wired CarPlay, I realized my message notifications do not make sounds. I do not have DND enabled.

I reset all my notification settings to default. I ensured silent mode is disabled, and I parked my park, turn off my music, then I sat and went into settings - sounds and haptics - text tone - and ANY tone I pick fails to produce a sound via my car.

Further, if I pick new mail, sent mail, reminder, or another setting to pick a sound, and I pick a sound to test it, the sound doesn’t play via CarPlay. The only sound that DOES play is my ringtone. I previously didn’t have this in iOS 16. Is anyone having this issue?

Ps. I have a custom text tone and custom ring tone

edit: nevermind, still no text message sounds when in carplay
