I like everything Apple is doing in terms of accessibility and I think they're ahead of their competitors when it comes to making technology accessible to those with different abilities. But, can we just request that they implement a feature where you can lock a photo album with a password? you know... so you can... umm.. *looks shifty* lock personal memories away from prying eyes?
Isn’t that what the Hidden album is for? Not that I know what you’re talking about.

Peek and Pop. You will be missed :(

3D touch was lightning fast. Haptic touch blows chunks. Takes too long to activate and sometimes it doesn't activate at all and I end up with a random word on my screen because it thinks I swyped.

Haptic Touch allows for the "unintended input" that Steve Jobs was so proud that the original iPhone ignored. Can't tell you how many times my screen has wiggling icons because my finger was resting on the screen for a moment. Haptic touch really does pale in comparison to 3D Touch but we are where we are.

Despite them only having mentioned peek and pop as the two levels of pressure, it worked just like an analog joystick. It measured every level of pressure (up to some max, of course) and it was cool to manipulate the 3D Touch wallpapers with many different levels of pressure. Haptic Touch fans just don't understand analog joysticks is all. 🤣

I’m fine-ish with the removal of Force Touch… just let me remove te flashlight from the homescreen.

It was placed there because it worked great with Force Touch, now it’s just annoying since I turn it on all the time by holding my phone wrong for to long.

Also I know people who accidentally activate the camera every time they set the phone down, so it just sits there burning battery trying to focus on the counter or couch cushion.

The iPhone seriously needs some customizability. And not just new ways to show pictures.

It's still not entirely clear why Apple got rid of ‌3D Touch. Some have argued ... Others have speculated ...

... the change allowed Apple to remove the capacitive layer that used to be integrated into every ‌‌iPhone‌‌ display.
→ That's what I remember: Apple wanting to simplify the screen and reduce its thickness.

Neat setting, I prefer the fast setting of the touch duration, it feels snappier and more on point.

Those accessibility options are becoming a nerd's settings trove. I think it is questionable to assume those only are accessibility settings so to say.

You can hide individual pictures by tapping the three dots at the top and selecting 'hide'. Pictures get locked in a hidden album and are to be unlocked by using face recognition or finger print.

Another work around is to move pictures in a locked note ;)

I don’t have “physical and motor” in my accessibility settings. Am I being stupid?

Jason

It took me a second but it’s physical category, then motor subcategory. They aren’t actually grouped together in name.
