Didn’t Apple say the Wi-Fi fix was coming as part of 17.2? Sure I read that on one of the sites. That would imply they’re not doing a point release to patch before 17.2 releases.

Edit: I was right, I did read it:

Some here just love the thought of bug fix releases (as the X.x.x releases are formally known).

To each their own.
I guess it’s always the fear that because it’s a beta it’s risky to use, but lots here find most betas, especially the later betas very solid even if you need to work around some added feature that’s brand new. Another thing to remember is the later beta cycles are based on even more solid public releases such as iOS 17.2 beta compared to the first few betas of iOS 17.0. Yes to each their own. 😉

I am currently using iOS/iPadOS/tvOS 17.2b1 and MacOS 14.2b1 on multiple devices just fine.

True! It’s like as soon as a x.x or an x.x.x is released, instantly insistent a new x.x.x has to follow, regardless.
and what's funny is most of the time they never fix the issue that most are complaining about, so that's why they want the new one. I'd be fine if we didn't have an update till 17.2

I thought we are on a 2 weeks releases.
But I'd be happy if b2 will drop today (3mins left).
The last couple of iOS x.2 releases were weekly, iOS 16.2/15.2 wrapped up 41 and 44 days respectively. A week would be on Thursday, but suspect it will be 6 days on Wednesday so they have ample time to get the PB out.

Also when the PB is the next day that is typically an indicator its on a weekly schedule as well.
