They launched some new ones today for iOS 16. Maybe tomorrow they will launch new ones for the 17.

Until it isnāt, lol. I donāt think it will come this week but the past year or so should be an example that things change. Look at last week with the late afternoon release. I think a lot of the expectations people have of things āalwaysā being as certain way when it comes to beta are based on patterns that were established when Apple only had 2 OSās to worry about. As fun as predicting is, weāre all at the mercy of Appleās internal roadmap.

Give it two days. The first day after the weekend or a holiday is not best, because that doesn't give you a full working day for prep. Barely have 2 hours. š

I agree. iOS 16.0 beta 3 came out July 6th of last year. So no reason to be anything otherwise.
Apple tends not to release on the day after a holiday here in the US.

Last weekās shenanigans were almost certainly the result of the zero day fix they had to rush out the door.

Apple could release beta 3 today then public this Friday, because it's an holiday next week on 4th of July

They could, but history shows that they'd prefer to not worry about new beta releases over a holiday weekend, and just release it after.

I have a feeling we're not getting anything this week. I think it will be next week. We aren't even on the weekly schedule for the betas yet.
Does anyone know when the weekly beta kicks in? I thought it was sometime in August. š

For iOS 14.0, iOS 15.0, and IOS 16.0 it was against beta 5 seed. So August would be right.

That has definitely occurred. The 4th falling midweek this year may complicate that though.

It would occur after July 6th dev beta 3 (best guess). Either that Friday July 7th or early week of July 10th, or 11th.

In finder click option on update then look for the dev beta 2 iOS 17 ipsw and it installs on top of the ota beta it works.

Pretty safe to say the first public beta will not be released on a Friday.
With iOS 16.0 beta 3 released July 6th. Itās possible iOS 17.0 beta 3 will drop on the 6th and public beta a week later.
