With iOS 16, 15, and 14, the next beta after the first public betas all came on Wednesday.

Depends. Since all iPhone models use the same SoC, the A17 could bs part of the delay. I don’t mind if the Pro‘s get a later release date (they have done it before).

I really find it strange to read feedback from people mostly with the latest most advanced iPhones having issues with PB1.

Just like you, I installed the PB1 yesterday OTA on my 12 mini and the only problem I have experienced so far was losing my iOS 16 wallpapers and the screen background going solid black. Fixed this by just making a new one.

The rest was pretty much fine for a beta, not even a noticeable battery drain, reported by many.

Makes me wonder what iPhone 14 Pro do that my 12 mini does not - could it be something to do with ProMotion, Dynamic Island, or what? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Granted I gave it less than 30 minutes before rolling back, but it just felt very unsteady (and I restarted a few times too). I was nervous going into the workweek with it. Maybe if I had given it a few more hours to settle down it would have been different...it just felt like walking into a construction site without a hard hat. Hoping I can jump on PB4 this week instead.

I’d wait for the final release to be honest. Save yourself a lot of time and stress.

I'm going to go with Wednesday for the next developer beta. Thus far, we've tracked last year almost to a "T". No reason to change that now. PB2 on Thursday.

DB 4 tomorrow or Wednesday. PB next week is my guess. I don’t think PB was following day until we went weekly, and I’m going with weekly after DB5 comes out.
