Uh oh I’m using a shortcut for Macrumors and got this error

Hey Apple if you're reading this, there are apps that send notifications & also send emails too. For example, apps like Deliveroo & Uber. Can you make it so if I swipe a notification away it also deletes the email or at least marks it as read? Thanks!

Well to quibble - I don't think the Supreme Court blocked Student Loan debt, but rather Student Loan debt relief. But still very useful from a "I get entirely too many notifications" standpoint - because I absolutely do.

Now if only it could recommend "you never, ever click on notifications for this app, would you like me to turn them off for you" then we'd be in business!

Haha yes, you're right about that. Though the alert itself wasn't worded particularly well, either.

And iOS has done that for a while! Not sure exactly what triggers it, but I often get the option presented when I install a new app and get a few notifications from it.

I've seen that, but it only comes up for apps where I WANT the notifications. Not the ones that spam me incessantly (looking at you, LinkedIn). I know I could turn it off myself, but I'm lazy.

So as an Apple Intelligence feature, this will only work iPhone 15 Pro and M1+ devices, correct?

Would love this on my 12 mini, but I have a feeling anything labeled Apple Intelligence won’t work.

Oh I get it lol. You can also swipe left on them in Notification Center and adjust settings from there.

Just noticed the icon in the article preview. I've been seeing that little icon on Apple Messages, and didn't know what it meant and thought had to do with RCS messages something. But now makes sense that its saying the message preview is AI generated. That solves that mystery.
Badly designed icon. It was confusing for me as well

Yours doesn't do this? I occasionally get a banner under my notifications asking "Want to keep getting notifications from _____?" or asking if I want them a part of the scheduled dump.

It’s funny. I only ever get that on notifications I actually want. Never on ones I don’t. 😂
