Hoping it fixes the occasional screen glitch on the 16 Pro/Max that causes vertical lines to appear (seems more prevalent when the display is auto adjusting brightness during AOD).

Siri has been broken too. Becomes totally unresponsive requiring a reboot. Doesn't acknowledge your voice and if it does it doesn't respond to what you've asked.

Just updated my iPhone 16 Pro Max from 18.0.1 as i've have had all sorts of issues with my 16, from keyboard lag, phone restarting, resprings and of course the camera button crashing and freezing the camera app. After about 30 minutes after installing the update and activating Apple Intelligence the phone is running smooth as butter like an iPhone should! In my opinion iOS 18 has been the worst iOS update to date as its been full of bugs and 18.1 now finally feels polished and what iOS should feel like.

I'm also experiencing performance issues -with the phone getting slower and less responsive- and the camera bug (it crashes when you open it, you need to restart).
I also restored all settings, but it didn't help.

Let's see if this 18.1 fixes it, hopefully it's the same built.

Would be nice if Apple cared about software quality again. I feel like they rush stuff out too much and change things for the sake of change without testing it.

I stick with them because they’re the less bad option. But that’s not high praise.

This is buggiest iPhone I’ve ever had. 16 Pro Max’s camera shuts down all the time and I keep having to reboot. I’ve even tried wiping it and starting again but to no avail. The camera system is overcomplicated and not the least bit user friendly.

For what it's worth, I was still seeing hourly crashes on the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the latest beta. I'm hopeful the final build fixes these (way too soon for me to say) but if Apple didn't want me to caution other users to wait a few days they should've shipped a beta that fixed it first.
