Does visual intelligence work on existing photos ? Best I got so far is asking it “what’s this ? “ referring to what’s on my screen.They do, it’s called Visual Intelligence but only works on the iPhone 16 / 16 Pro phones cause it needs the camera control button.

Well, I was really surprised to see it show up on a Saturday morning. I had resigned myself to maybe seeing it in the second beta release.

Perhaps it's based on more than one criteria 🤷🏻♂️. I waited to install 18.2 beta until I had my new iPad mini 7 on release day as I didn’t want a first beta on my daily and it just dropped for me today. Maybe a combination of timing, geography, and device type are variables. I sincerely doubt it's just random but we're only guessing at their criteria formulae.
