iOS 18.2: Bring Volume Slider Back to iPhone Lock Screen

I wondered what was off when media was playing… no joke, I didn’t notice it, but I knew something was wrong. Thanks for posting!

As a user I’m honored to be inconvenienced, if not abjectly thrown under a bus, in order to help a beef with another large corporate entity. I removed my Joe Rogan and Spotify tattoos immediately when I found out what side I’m on.

Am I the only one that wants the scrubbing to me removed from the lockscreen? I always accidentally touch it and fast forward to a random spot when listening..

They probably forgot they got rid of it in the first place!!

If they want to bring back something. Bring back landscape mode on the Home Screen.

My iPhone 8plus had it. Not sure why they got rid of it

Accessibility for Apple has merged too much with the "for [___] reason, we don't want people doing it this way, but they'll complain too much if we don't at least give them the option" features.

Why is this under accessibility, and not, say, the music or audio settings? Accessibility has traditionally been where things go that help with disabilities of some sort - poor eyesight, hearing, and the like. What exact disability causes you to want to adjust the volume?

Spotify says users on iPhone will no longer be able to control the volume of connected devices using their physical volume buttons after Apple "discontinued" the technology that enables the functionality.

I came here to demand (yes, demand; it was a feature when I bought my phone) that Apple reinstate this ability.

Happy to see that this is back. Was missing this feature. Had just updated my iPhone and turned it back on!
