I have a question. Im on ios 17.1.1 on my iphone 15 pro and i want to install IOS 18.3 RC because its still signed. Can i update trough itunes with shift+ update without data loss? i have lag on keyboard and sometimes delay between switching and opening apps, because is one of the earliest ios17 version.

I just downgraded from 18.5 to 18.3 RC 22D60 on my 16 Pro. Works with no issues, but had to set up device as new.

I'm very surprised to see 18.3 RC being signed still because I've been facing a nasty bug regarding Front Camera Processing ever since updating to 18.4. Many hours with Apple Support spent and nothing has been fixed after several official updates. I should probably make a separate thread about it.

Might work, but prepare yourself with iCloud backup as well as encrypted backup on Mac. Either one should suffice if anything goes wrong, but can't promise based on experience.
