Finally, Apple, thank you! Now we won’t need to scroll all the way down to see our latest photos/videos! Now just extend it to Music, so the latest tracks added to a playlist can also be on top of the list.

One day they’ll fix the photo sync with a big library bug. I haven’t been able to sync my photos for years. It’s incredibly aggravating.

No mention of the fix for the mail fetch/push issue?
"New mail" events are pushed to iOS, "read/deleted mail" events are fetched periodically in iOS18.x. It's better that not updating Mail badge at all (iOS <18.x). I'm afraid such approach to "fix" the bug is intentional and Apple won't make it any better.

Unfortunate that we have to be thankful that they give us back things they took away from us.

There’re still a number of Photos app issues I can’t stand. For one, swiping down closes the Hidden folder and you have to tap twice now to get back into it, or any FaceID locked folder, when it used to scan you automatically. And in every other folder it remembers where you scrolled to, but the Hidden folder takes you back to the top, in the opposite direction of years of muscle memory, every time you go back to it. Also hate that accidentally swiping left or right takes you to the next folder.

I didn’t see my most requested features

Why would you turn off RCS? It's awesome, and the next major release will make it even better!
Bc it’s unreliable.

I have no benefit to using it as talking to android people isn’t a focus of mine. I barely associate with them and for those I do, sms works fine.

Most of the time, rcs defaults back to sms on my iPhone and even worse when it’s an iPhone user. It’ll automatically just send green which I hate then switch over to iMessage in the same conversation.

They hyped it up to be just as good as iMessage it’s not.

I thought I could use it overseas while on vacation like iMessage. Nope.

iMessage is still superior and thankfully 99 percent t of the ppl I know use some iOS device of some sort and for those who don’t I am fine with sms or I begrudgingly will use WhatsApp.

Has Apple ever moved on or forgotten iPhone models so quickly as it has since the rollout of this Apple Intelligence mess.

Sincerely,

iPhone 15 owner

I don't know how Apple thinks they know what notifications are importent to me on any given day. I hope this can be easily turned off.
Flighty ( an otherwise great app) thinks i need to be notified when a tail number us assigned. Maybe AI will mark that a unimportant…

Finally! Hopefully in iPadOS too.

I wouldn't call it awesome. It's finally functional, I had to turn it off for a while because it kept not delivering messages.

But I got one of the problem Android friends to switch to Signal for messaging me around then, and was able to turn it back on. The ONLY noticeable difference from MMS is that it can send higher res pics and larger files. It's NOT secure.

Lists new bug though:

So I can't back up photos if they're hidden? ARGH!

Sounds like they still go into backups but not imports. Also sounds like you could just uncheck the require Face ID setting before doing the import and then just re-check it after.
