Apparently it is.No app review summary!
Is it a feature of Apple intelligence?!
I wonder if they fixed the Apple TV bug that fails to reconnect HomePods after I power off connected Bluetooth headphones. Probably not.I look with hope at every new release yet alas, there is still no setting to turn off, disable or hide the home bar at the bottom of the screen.
Apple seems to be proud of this useless, annoying artifact. It's weird.
Please, just give us a setting to turn it off. If you like it that's fine but don't make the rest of us suffer with it.
Don't think so, mine is set to English by default.Me too. I am using ip13 too.
What lang have you set for the phone system setting?
My phone is set to other Lang (not English) and I thought that is reason for not showing the new preferred Lang option in map.
Same again. I changed the phone lang setting to English but did not see the new option of preferred language for map app.Don't think so, mine is set to English by default.
No apps available for choice under "Default Translation app", even though I would assume Google Translate should be there (maybe later?).There is an option to set a different Translation app as the default in the Default Apps section of the Settings app. In the EU, there is also an option to choose a different Navigation app.
Mail catergorisation used to work for me even phone set to Lang other than English. Upgraded to iOS 18.4 just now, it does not work. The Mail app Categories are interesting. I can see that Apple put some thought into this.
At first glance I don't find Categories to be useful for me so I turned the feature off for now. New mail seemed to "get lost" in the mix. I'll revisit it from time to time to see if I can find any utility in it.
Meanwhile it seems that Apple finally got the 'new mail badge' of the Mail icon on the Home screen working properly again. It's been in malfunction-land for years. Good to see something getting fixed instead of getting broken on an iOS update.
It’s there. Go under ‘messages’ and it’ll show up to be toggled on. It’ll make a big difference in texting androids

Nope, not for me. Supposed to be supported by my carrier, but see no such options in Settings for Messages. Searching for it on top level in Settings, it does show up as available under Messages, but following that link it is nowhere.
I noticed this too. Maybe some changes need to be made in Google Translate first. 🤷♂️Can Google translate be chosen as default translating app? will it work in all places Apple translate works now? not on iOS 18 yet.
