Unusual to see improvements in battery life so soon after an update, I had just over 8hrs of screen time and went to bed with 43% left. Be interesting to see if it improves further.
Yes, updated through iTunes and I’m experiencing overheating on my 16PM but I think it’s still indexing so I’ll give it 2-3 days to settle.
Performance on 14 pro is very good, no stutters or dropped frames anywhere except for Notification Center
Yep and the "optimizing...." message didn't appear like the last few updates did.

This update screwed up a bunch of HomeKit AirPlay glyphs for me… rather than the appropriate HomePod mini (single or paired) glyphs… I get glyphs for large HomePods and generic speaker icons in the AirPlay menu.
Everything still works fine, but the icons are all wrong.
Also lost the AirPods glyph in the warranty section…

I got reports that my submitted bug has been fixed…but it hasn’t. I submit the awful color oversaturation in app switcher since 18.1 but nothing ever happens 🙃
Only overheating I’ve encountered is with FaceTime (granted was also my first time using it so I’m not sure if that’s always the case)
16 pro here and other than that I haven’t had any issues with the RC. OTA from 18.4.1
Noticed this too. My iPad gets only random ones. And some photos not appearing that I send from iPhone to just some contacts (not all) not showing in iMessage photo gallery.
There was no room for slip ups. Today's Apple is a lot of "Oopsies"
I’ve noticed two new things, if these aren’t new please disregard one I randomly got a notification on my screen to reset my apple account password. See the screenshot.
Also I clicked the side button to light up my screen and I got something on my screen that said look down to unlock I didn’t screenshot it in time, but unless it’s a feature that is turned on by default in this release I haven’t turned anything else on and no other version of iOS 18 have I ever seen this.

Other than the usual bugs, I have run into a new one for RC.

1. Watching video (Prime, YouTube) the sound will fluctuate up and down in volume. Hard reset doesn't help.
2. Listening to music with APP2 on NC, it allows much more background noise in than B4 and previous betas.
Yes, spell and grammar check still massively sucks. SOSDD 🙄
