I can only assume they have bumped into some problems with the RC and are waiting to release it until its solved.
Might be that they want to release it along with ios 15, 16 and 17.

That would be so bad if 18.7.2 doesn’t go public at all

Clicking your link I couldn’t find 18.7.1 either? Is there an explanation for that?
Not sure why that release is missing. Maybe they are discontinued support for 18 early however they should have releases for it for the devices that can not be updated to 26.

I had a feeling we wouldn’t see it when there was no sign of it with 26.1.

It’s bad enough for phones that can be updated to 26, but even worse for those that cannot. Are they trying to strong arm people into either updating if they can, or making them upgrade their iPhone model?

This could be counter productive as tone people will switch to android, I’m guessing they hope it won’t be many.

Yes it would be great if our iPhone XS still got this update - nowadays used as a car phone

iOS 18 only phones are iPhone XR, XS and XS Max

Just updated.

Wonder if we’ll get an iOS 18.7.3, or if that’s it.
If we look at last year there was another release for all devices after 18.1 was released. So if Apple sticks to that we will see another release when 26.1.1 is being released.

Thank God it's there.

Yes there should be one more update for newer devices but when 26.2 drops then newer devices are left behind

Only iPhone XR, XS and XS Max will get an iOS 18 Update in Mid-December when iOS 26.2 ships

I know it’s perfectly possible to stay on iOS 18 all year but it’s the fact that by doing that you lose all the security updates in the process.
