Ok, so just installed it and not sure it's me hallucinating but he phone does feel like its got a performance boost. Could be that the device has been restarted of course. But it just feels like the apps starts a tiny bit faster.

Did a quick comparisson with my regular 16 and well, its not faster.....positive vibe gone.... :-D

Help! Finder doesn't show 18.7, only 26.0. Can it only be updated via OTA, or do I need to do something in Finder?
I want to stay on 18.7 on all my devices, and I like to update them from my Mac.

Any particlular reason you want to do it from the Mac? I know a full memory is one reason and doing it via the computer saves you the hassle of deleting stuff.

Perhaps it's more of a habit or obsession to perform these updates using a cable connected to a computer. I don't have any tangible evidence, but I have noticed poorer performance when updating via OTA in the past.

Any guesses on when the IPSW for iOS 18.7 will show up on ipsw.me?
It is likely, outside of the iDevices that don't get 26, that will be "Never." Apple usually ONLY releases OTA updates once they've released new .0 major releases. Like jerks. (Because it forces folks on eligible devices to the newer major release.)

Well 17.7 was released as an IPSW too, so they do release IPSW for devices that can be updated. But I would say if 18.7 is released, based on history it will prob be the last IPSW we will see for versions that can be updated.

My iPhone 13pro is currently on version 18.6.2. The system shows that there is an update, but the update page keeps showing "checking for update" and cannot be updated to 18.7. I tried restarting the phone many times, but it still remains the same.

Strange, is your own phone and not a device that's managed via your company or similar?
You using any networking software or similar that could cause this behavior?

Have you tried a forced restart? (volume up, volume down and hold the right button for 30 seconds)?
Does the wifi/network work ok in general or do you have other issues?

it's my phone. I've done OTA upgrade for many times, no this issue before.

I've also done forced restart, wifi works well and network is also stable and fast

My iphone 11 got the 18.7 upgrade

-------
update

I tried to restart the phone several times, finally got the update

Very strange, especially since your 11 got it. Good thing it got sorted in the end.

No ipsw for 18.7 at least until now.
