Ios 18 beta 1 photos app question

Ok so is there a way in the photos application on the iOS 18 beta to select photos like before. I want to be able to select multiple photos/videos and delete them in a batch rather than one by one. Is this possible at the moment because I can't seem to figure it out.

Pull down and it switches from photos to library. From there you can select multiples same as before

I am sure they will change this behavior in one of the upcoming betas. I was also confused for a second and saw a lot of people on social media asking about it as well. Not intuitive at all.
