Hard to say iOS 17 is legacy when it’s the latest stable public release. You’d think Apple would let the developers have HomePodOS 18. Can’t see my timers nor alarms on iOS 18. Apple says you must use a legacy os. aka 17.x or lower to view / edit alarms or timers. Apple’s response just ask Siri to set or what is set for timers / alarms. 😬
Delete them all. Then add German first and second English. Mine were like that until I deleted them and readded.anyone else not able to add a second language to the same keyboard?
It suddenly stopped working and when I try to add a second language (English) to the German keyboard, it shows it correctly in the overview but once I hit apply it adds English as a second keyboard
Does anyone know if iPhone mirroring requires 2FA to be turned on? Does it work with all iPhones that are running ios18?Just tried Phone Mirroring.
Had to turn Bluetooth on, on both devices. So it only works if the devices are close to each other. For me, that makes it a feature I doubt I'll ever need. Oh well.
Possibly. But if so it came no later than 17.1 or .2. Bottom line: it was in iOS 17 and it’s not new to 18Don't think I saw it in the first days of iOS 17. It was only the analog option on the calendar view.
Try saying Oi Oi Savaloy.
Yeah that's definitely buggy in this build. Apart from that I find most other issues I had in beta 1 have been fixed.Don’t see a lot of new things but already had more bugs than in two weeks of beta 1 ( icon customization is Very buggy)
I'm not seeing that on my 14PM.Is the digital clock option new in iOS18 standby mode? I don’t remember seeing it 17.
It’s been better for me. Fixed some bugs and is speedier. Only new bug that wasn’t there before that I’ve seen is the grid icons when switching to/from dark. After reading 9 pages of commentary, sounds like I should just stay on Beta 1 for now! 😂
Mine is a 15PM as well and I’ve got the Hello screen.Well that was odd…..
Updated my 15PM OTA, had to do the “Agree” thing. It updated without asking for the Install permission nor told me that the install was done. No “Hello” either.
This was a very odd update for me.
The beta IPSWs are restricted. You need Xcode to install it on a Mac and you can't install it on Windows at all.iOS 18 Beta 2 IPSW doesn’t work at all. I try to install it in iTunes, it tells me I need to update iTunes. Hello? It’s up to date???? No worries, I decide to finally give the new Apple Devices windows program a try. Shift click update, select the IPSW… and absolutely nothing. Not a progress bar, a warning, not even so much as an error message. Just absolutely nothing.
Progress! Courage!
Are you on Sonoma or Sequoia?A little late to the party but if you are trying to update using IPSW, I had to update my Mac to the latest version of Sonoma. I tried updating my iPad on beta 1 and it wouldn't work. Updated the Mac to Beta 2 and it updated my iPad just fine.
I just don’t like the wasted space.I think the difference in the curves between the squircle icons in the folder and the curves of the folder squircle background could look odd if they were larger. And now I really want to know the proper name for them. (And it had better be an improvement on ‘squircle’.)
