iOS 18 Call Recording Missing on iPhone 15 Pro Max

I'm running the latest iOS 18 public beta on a iPhone 15 Pro Max and the call recording feature that's supposed to appear in the upper left hand corner of the screen is not there. Any suggestions other than wait for the next beta?

It's only on the 18.1 beta, not the 18.0 beta.
