Just what I said earlier. Now we may possibly see iOS 18.2 developer beta 1 next week or week after for iPhone 15s and 16s…

18.2? I don’t think thats coming till after 18.1 public release
Just my opinion personally they aren't going to release 18.0.1 to us until they figure out the M4 Ipad situation
Don’t forget we had iOS 18.0 public beta and iOS 18.1 developer beta at the same time.
With Apple they want to get iOS 18.2 out in December at the latest, so it’s possible developers with iPhone 15s and 16s can develop apps to use ai.

these should be identical - switching only for the next one selecting the Public Branch in Update
18.2 beta 1 probably the day after 18.1 public release, end of october. Release mid December. Thats plenty of time.

Yeah. I don’t think it’s coming any sooner than the day after 18.1 is released. It was probably more PR than anything else to get 18.1 out when they did.
We'll see what they do but IMO it makes perfect sense to release 18.0.1 next week and 18.0.2 2 week after that. This has been a pretty stable release and that messaging bug is such minor issue. I say this is how we should ride into 18.1
one small note Ios 17.0.1 was released Sep 21 on thursday the day before the Iphone 15 was released, we did not get the day before today
interesting.. 18.0 or 18.0.1? guess we will find out soon enough when more people get there new phones
havent read anywhere about there being an update for those on the 16 besides someone mentioned it here earlier 🤷♂️
