I think we still have another beta before the RC, it’s only October 2nd!

Sadly, nothing today. IMG_6532.jpeg

Two thoughts -
Apple has found some huge issues in 18.1 and is working on fixing them.
OR
Apple is ready to release 18.1 and is prepping the RC for Monday/Tuesday.

Either way they sure want to get Apple Intelligence out for all the new 16's out there.
Yeah I am starting to think beta is done and they are prepping for RC next week.

I am feeling really really angry about the lack of 18.0.1 or a new 18.1 beta. It is totally unacceptable at this point how they are sending us, their valued users, out to pasture.
Betas aren't something that you always get on a regular basis, neither are patches for security, unusual failure instances, or just a medley of bug fixes for a previous release. Sometimes we luck out, often you just have to wait until the release is fully vetted. Hopefully it fixes or improved people's issues. 😉

As long as they have taken extra time to polish bugs, I’m fine with the delay. After all, if I’m waiting for 18.0.1 to install the new system, is because I want some bugs fixed.
I’m wondering if AI is more of a problem than they thought it would be…or implementing it is a lot harder than anticipated .Last year on iOS 17 betas were flying out left and right like crazy. Same with Sonoma and on my watch. Now they’re having problems with a watch beta…I don’t recall that happening in previous betas…

I just wanted the sleep apnea, woudln’t have updated if I’d realised. I wonder if health stuff is left of Betas generally due to data security or something or is this just a miss? bought the AW10 for that at launch too.

Not a big deal I suppose it’ll come soon enough (and then take 30 days to populate)
