It's definitely one of his oddest predictions. Not sure what the rush is. It would make more sense to me for the RC to come next week and public 12/9. We'll have to wait and see...I never heard of a RC right before Thanksgiving holiday and a Public release immediately after.
Apple has done plenty of odd things lately with releases. Wouldn’t surprise me if they actually sent out RC today.
I agree, don’t see the rush to get out Beta 5 or RC today. Beta 4 has been quite stable, there’s no giant issues that I have ran into. Better to let this Beta sit for a while longer and push the next one after the Holiday so if there is a giant issue with that, they can fast track a fix.

I’ve had it at non-zero only because of Apple Intelligence. But with yesterday passing with nothing, it’s just a hairs chance now. If not today it really is zero.

Yeah, I think we’ll be getting an 18.2 RC next week, and maybe a first beta for 18.3? I’m excited to see what’s coming in 18.3!
