And not surprised at all. It's useless.
It isn’t useless. I use the proofreading feature in Writing Tools all the time for my editing process. And I use other Apple Intelligence features as well, like summaries, notification summaries, etc. Apple Intelligence even can create tables with data you highlight. It’s very much useful. It may not be useful for some people, but it is definitely useful for others…

People are just disappointed by Apple they are very behind in AI. Even Google is far ahead, and their AI (Gemini) is considered to be one of the worst besides Meta’s.

Norisbank
Sadly this bank is part of Deutsche Bank. And it seems all Apps for Deutsche Bank aren't working with the new beta. Crossing fingers for you this will be fixed with beta2. But I think it relies more on the Norisbank app if and when it will work again.

@Maloney~888 nice.. but in this case it comes from "Noris", which is the allegorical name of the city of Nuremberg. Norisbank was founded in Nuremberg once as an independet bank.

Most likely after the beta is over I bet 😬
But I have the a bit annoying work around that I use their online login over safari

TBH, I mostly use the UI to access chatGPT, since Apple still doesn’t support languages like Slovak :/

Beta 2 Watch: Any chance we'll see it drop today? (Wait, wasn't the last longest-waiting "beta 2" rollout a 3-4 week waiting game?) Time to hit the sack here in Asia - maybe morning coffee will bring a pleasant surprise!

Silver Lining Alert: Post-March 21st daylight saving time adjustments should finally restore those 1AM update cycles instead of the current 2AM CN-time slots. My liver sends its heartfelt gratitude for this temporal mercy!

Many betas have around a 2 week gap between the first beta and the second beta. We could get a second beta this week though, we’ll have to see. 👍🏻

Considering Gurman's rumor of b1 supposedly set to come out earlier in the week but then it not releasing until Friday afternoon (and an 's' build, too?), I'd say it's pretty plausible that we see b2 today or tomorrow. And hopefully they don't have to compile it 19 times that day, too 😆

I’m confident we’re getting the second beta in the next couple days since the public beta was released so quickly. If you look at last year as a reference, the 17.4 public beta was released less than a week after the developer beta, and the second beta was released exactly a week later.

Similarly with 16.4 and 15.4, the public beta was released one day after the developer beta. And there was a 12 day gap between beta 1 and beta 2. Wednesday will be 12 days.

And I’M usually the pessimistic one by the way.

I wonder with the potential new products coming if we get a x.x.2 of iOS, MAC OS, etc this week. Their is no downgrade option available right now and usually that is a sign of a new release coming.

Doesn't Apple always (usually) stop signing the previous version a week or two after a new release? I've never known it to be an indication that something new is coming. Plus, with 18.3.1 fixing some major security vulnerabilities, I don't think they'd want to continue signing 18.3 anyway.

I think that makes sense. Hopefully we get beta 2 this week! 👍🏻. I wonder if we’ll see any new changes in beta 2 or not. I wouldn’t expect anything really big, but sometimes we see some more features dropped or improved that weren’t ready for the first beta. 👍🏻

Hope too that we get the beta (best today) this week!

It would be enough for me if the banking apps will work again

I also think this will be a very short beta cycle. I think they’re putting more energy into 18.5 right now, and this is basically just a “stopgap” for lack of a better term.
Yeah, though if they release a beta this week, it will actually be a bit longer than the hypothetical beta release schedule I had plotted out a couple weeks ago. I had the first two betas separated by 2 weeks. So I think they’ll still have sufficient time to pack in 4-5 betas if we get one this week, possibly more. 👍🏻. Totally agree though that 18.4 isn’t likely to see substantial changes, they’re likely focusing on 18.5 and getting Siri enhancements ready for it. I agree that 18.4 is likely more of a stopgap at this point. 👍🏻
