I don't know what serious problem the RC has on MacOS that requires a second one, but I don't think it's more serious than sudden reboots for some iPhone users. From what I've seen in the RC thread, Apple is aware of the problem, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a second iOS RC later today or tomorrow.

I used to be the first one to say that save for a few exception, Release Candidate was typically the release code. Seems that is no longer the case.

And you still can find severe bugs in there.. so better do a RC2.

Always strange that these severe bugs didn't happen in the betas. But in software development and with software releases you never know. Maybe some developer thought, it was wise to do a code refactoring and released some bugs with it... I speak as a product manager of a software team. I can feel the pain. And I know this happens. It should not happen of course, but it happens.

... downloading RC2...

but it has - for a first time since long - a full description... (Sorry for the German...) - I like the term "
groundbreaking AI technologies" the most :)

I will first check the "Find My" re-boot/re-spring" issue

AI and iPhone Mirroring are server side enabled, right? So even if it’s released today, it would be enabled in the EU automatically tomorrow without the need for another update?

I wonder if Apple had planned for tomorrow to be the big Siri release given all the marketing for Apple Intelligence has April 1st in the marketing. I know it’s also the founding date of Apple but given we are seeing a release this week I do wonder.
