Hello Everyone,
Since the update 26.2 and now 26.2.1 (iOS and iPadOS), I know that I am not alone, I have a frustrating issue with AirPlay.
When I use this one with my Sonos system, not always but often, when the music plays, some tracks plays in ghosted mode > I see the evolution time of the track but no sound releases from the players. To resolve this > rewind or forward.
I have seen that other peoples have the same problem with Bose system and also with the HomePods.
My WiFi are reliable and very stable. All of my Sonos players have a dedicated IP address.
I hope that this problem will be resolved in the future.
Kind regards.

iOS 26.2 was very stable for me is only 26.2.1 that is draining very badly compared to previous iOS update. Never had such a bad battery drain in my life after an update, hopefully after a few more days it will stable and is taking too many days to stable.
Either some iCloud syncing/indexing going on or you have some app not behaving. Its doubtful iOS itself is to blame or everyone else would be having issues too. I would close all apps and reboot then give it a day or two to see if it settles. OR see if there is a particular offending app showing up in battery usage causing your issue. Luck to you!

Apple just tried their best to force me to update by mistake to 26.2.1 from 18.7.2 … one click to lose stability on iPhone 11 Pro

I see - tvOS profile workaround worked till today:

Exact same problem with my HomePod mini. Tried many things to solve it but with no success. Very frustrating.

This update borked my BlueTooth CarPlay! A Prior update broke wired CarPlay for me and a bunch of others, so I got a BlueTooth USB CarPlay dongle, and that's been working great up until this update, and now that doesn't work, either. I'm not going to go into detail on what I should & shouldn't try to fix it.. I've posted in these forums plenty on what I've done so far. Now it seems all I can do is wait for 26.3 and hope.

I just wanted to share my iOS 26.2.1 upgrade experience for what it's worth.
Last night my iPhone 15 Pro updated itself automatically while on charge and on my home wifi overnight.

At 11am I received a text from my network provider saying I had used my entire data allowance for the month.
When I logged into my providers app it seems that from 1am my iPhone had some how used my entire 35GB allowance for the month.

I've dug into my Settings but still can't figure how or what happened.
I can only assume that after updating my iPhone did not auto connect to my home wifi until I had unlocked it (which I didn't until I woke up the next morning) and either a system process or rouge app used 35GB of my cell data without my knowledge.

I checked my Battery usage which is saying Overcast used 35% more battery today than usual with 2m on-screen and 22m background, but when I look at the Manage Storage settings in Overcast it's using the same amount of data as earlier this week, so I'm not convinced Overcast auto-downloaded 35GB of podcasts.

TL;DR - An automatic iOS update used my entire monthly mobile data allowance overnight without my knowledge, despite having wifi available.
I wanted to warn other users of this and will be disabling auto-updates on all my devices moving forward after this experience.

A full 26.2.1 IPSW for iPhone 15 Pro is only 10.9Gb, if you were alraedy on iOS 26, it'd be less than that as it would be a delta update.

You can see if Software Updates used any Mobile Data for the update by going into Settings, Mobile Service, under Mobile Data, System Services.

I was on wifi to pull the update either way.
I don't think the IPSW was what used all my mobile data, but something post-update.

Am I right in thinking once an update is installed (or phone rebooted) a device will not connect to wifi until unlocked?
