I was disappointed about the feature of "live translation". In my head I was thinking that it would be like the Star Trek universal translation comm badges where it would translate a foreign language in real time specifically, as someone in another language spoke, it would translate in your ear in real time. That would be awesome especially when I work with the public and people are talking in another language in front of me, having it tell me the words it recognizes in my AirPods. However, this version can't "duplex". You have to manually tell it to listen to the person from your phone, then it will dictate what it was said in your ear in your language. I wish it would more fluid and automatic.

Having technology (truly) live translate would be super useful in multicultural societies, although it would cause people to not learn the native languages of their country which could have some negative repercussions.

Still waiting for normal battery life to be restored. iOS 26 is easily the worst update I've ever had in an iPhone. Seems like they want to drain my battery and force me to upgrade to a new iPhone.....
