Apple's software engineers are testing iOS 26.3.1, according to the MacRumors visitor logs, which have been a reliable indicator of upcoming iOS versions.

iOS 26.3.1 should be a minor update that fixes bugs and/or security vulnerabilities, and it will likely be released within the next two weeks.

Last month, Apple released iOS 26.2.1 with bug fixes and support for the second-generation AirTag. Likewise, it is possible that iOS 26.3.1 will include support for some of the new products that Apple is expected to announce in the first week of March, such as the iPhone 17e, but this is merely speculation at this point.

Apple is reportedly planning a three-day stretch of product announcements from Monday, March 2 through Wednesday, March 4. Selected journalists and content creators are expected to receive hands-on time with the products at an "Apple Experience" in New York, London, and Shanghai on Wednesday, March 4 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.

We have not confirmed if there will be any corresponding updates, such as macOS 26.3.1.

iOS 26.3.1 will be a stopgap update between iOS 26.3, released earlier this month, and iOS 26.4, which will likely arrive in late March or early April. While it lacks the personalized version of Siri, iOS 26.4 is shaping up to be a relatively significant update that adds many new features across Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, CarPlay, and more.

It's definitely well past time for Craig to be shown the door. There's really no excuse for the way the software looks and handles. Apple is about quality hardware and software, and right now, between Siri, liquid glass, and the bugs -- it is anything but quality.

I wouldn't shed a tear if the entire C-Suite was shown the door. It's badly needed.

Sadly, C-suite KPI metrics do not include the social media sentiment.

Why not just call it 26.3 if it's the first version of 26.3? The bug fix would be called 26.3.1.

Because it isn't the first version.

I’m hoping it fixes a few issues I’m seeing in safari with some sites jumping all over the place wildly.

Think it will be a day 1 update for the new devices including the iPhone and iPad. Not expecting any visible changes with this update.

You’re not lucky, just normal. Most people just use their phones and don’t spend hours online discussing issues or perceived issues.
Exactly. I would wager that 99% of IOS26 users either don't have any problems, don't see any problems, or are unaware of any problems in their day-to-day usage of their iPhones and carry on their day as normal without having a breakdown on macrumours!

They also need to fix airplay problem. It sucks after ios26
What problems are you having? Just using AirPlay in particular? Lag? Dropout?

I’m asking, because AirPlay was less reliable for me before iOS 26. Sometimes I couldn’t AirPlay my laptop screen to my AppleTV. Trying to AirPlay to a speaker would also sometimes refuse to connect.

Once I updated all devices to 26 though, everything has been more solid than it’s ever been for me.

If you’re having issues, make sure you are on the same network and that you have solid WiFi (interference from neighbors could affect it). Also, if you are AirPlaying to a device, try resetting that device.

It’s hard to troubleshoot without knowing what specific issues you are experiencing.

They can test all then want, it will never release. How many times have there been point releases that never happened.

oh, Apple is testing 26.2.1. Imminent release. Never happened
oh, Apple is testing 26.0.0.2. Imminent release. Never happened

This will be another internal OS build that never releases to the public.
