Hmm, I thought the issue wasn't so much the receiving of notifications, but the inability to act on them? Is Apple finally opening up the ability to stay, respond to text messages on a third party smartwatch?
What I did was disable most of the notifications on my iPhone, since my Apple Watch mirrors my iPhone in that regard, and I don't want to mess that up.For me, it's getting every notification that my phone gets without the ability to disable specific apps, like you can with the Apple Watch. Weather notifications are really the only one I want on my Garmin.

The other 2 main players don't allow their devices to work on opposing platforms, is this included in DOJ case? All manufacturers should make their devices compatible with both platforms.Sounds good!
The more of this sort of stuff, the better.
I'd also not that we have EU and US opposition to where Apple is at here.
(bold emphasis below is mine)
Other manufacturers also need to be forced to support other platforms. Google and Samsung are just as exclusive not supporting iOS.Lame. Maybe these other companies need to create better software and hardware to compete against Apple. It’s not Apple‘s problem if someone can’t get a notification on a non-Apple device.
Thank you, I can now stop looking for it😀Hi, it was only present in beta 1
