iOS 26.4 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

seems cool so far I still hate the extra steps to update apps though as I would normally do this several times a day and know its an extra step that I hate

I thought all the apps updated automatically, so there's no need to go to the App Store and do it manually. When I check manually, there's an extra step, but I see a complete list of apps that have been updated automatically recently, plus a list of apps labeled for forthcoming updates.

After I updated to iOS 26.4 Beta 2, Find My stopped working. All AirTags I have stopped sending me the location since when, and it hasn't been fixed even I turn off and on the feature. Anyone who experiencing the same problem?

Have you tried hard-resetting your phone?

Mine's been working better than on Beta 1.

Not sure what is going on - since updating to beta 2, I am getting frequent issues signing into apps that require a password (or biometrics) where it is asking me to resign in and reauthorize biometric use.
Happening on bot the Air and iPad.

I wish they'd revert all the search bars to the top. That's where you see them naturally, and I found them much Easier to access and use. .

They need to implement a “Good Old times” toggle that disables Liquid Glass and moves UI again to the unreachable top area. /s

Anyone had issues installing from IPSW?

When I try and choose the file nothing happens.

When I tried to install mine, I had to drag all my windows out of the way because there was a popup in the center of the screen behind the Finder window. I had to dismiss it, then choose my file IIRC.

You could look for my earlier post where I said that it was exactly the same for me. Installing macOS 26.4b2 was the solution.

Yes, I just tapped Not Now and proceeded in Finder.

Same issue. Both AirTags and AirPods have stopped updating location.

With the AirTags not updating, just want to add that you cannot add a new AirTag either until you reset the phone and add it in the first 10 minutes, then it no longer work.
(Lesson after getting a new AirTag 2 today)

Try restarting your WiFi. Fixed it for me.

Nope, no improvement

With 26.4 Beta 3:

- App store bug is fixed where loading of any section was extremely slow.

- However, if you use your iphone in a language other than your account's language, name of search tab in app store is still not in the language of your device but in the language of your account. no issues with other tabs.

- in spotlight, a bug where preventing "Top Hit" and "Conversion" sections to show up, is fixed.

- in home screen, after exiting the home screen edit mode, edit button was getting stuck on left or right top corner of the screen sometimes. it seems fixed now.

so 3 of 4 bugs i noticed are fixed with this beta. so far so good.
