Since iOS 26.3 betas, I've been having issues with IPv6 not being stable. It will run fine for a day, then not work. If I disconnect and reconnect (and sometimes have to Airplane mode) I can get it back working. On macOS it doesn't come back without a reboot.

Other devices like a raspberry Pi running Homebridge or other non-Apple devices never have this issue.

Has anyone else noticed issues with IPv6? I feel like this started with them messing with the network for AirTag 2.

After a few days I have run into these new issues….
iPad Pro - Safari - touch is sporadically non responsive. Especially for dropdown selections (example: drop down in Google bar).
When opening AirPods Pro I get the popup but I now have to use the “x” to close. Tapping anywhere on the screen to close no longer works.

Air - most apps - will randomly freeze for a few seconds then pick back up.
Air - Mail - had to unaccount the app and redo all accounts to fix my previous issue (Gmail was the label but iCloud Mail was the contents.

I think Age verification is causing some sites to not load… with a page: “website not allowed”. I don’t want to provide age verification. It also cannot be done offline.

Still experiencing the spotlight issue where it doesn’t show any results.

Try this:

1. Change language to English (UK or US)
2. Settings->Siri and turn everything off in the Suggestions section
3. Then turn off for each and every app at the bottom
4. Restart
5. Change language back to your default
6. Re-enable the apps

No, cannot confirm. I'm on 26.3.1 on all my devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) and I have native IPv6 Dual Stack at home, no issues at all, I never lose connectivity.

Maybe it's something specific of your router? Any weird setting? Is there anything you can customize there or is it a "take it or leave it" black box kind of thing?

Will try this if RC doesn’t fix it. I don’t have that many apps but enough where the above would take a while with a chance it doesn’t fix it.

I was going under the same assumption, but all of my non-Apple devices (Raspberry Pi, AV, Tele, etc.) are fine and flawless.

iPhone IPv6 works fine on AT&T Cell. I do think it's an interoperability thing, but only Apple devices and recently.

As to the device, it's an Orbi WiFi 7 box. I do know there are bugs in it, and IPv6 itself has been buggy. For me though, it's only the Apple devices that are misbehaving. I believe the v6 routing table is getting hosed. Rebooting the Apple device fixes it, so it kind of means the v6 on the router is working, although there's likely a standards issue somewhere (Netgear ot Apple).

Interop for sure, one of the toughest one to troubleshoot. Does the Orbi WiFi 7 box "generate" the IPv6 for you or is it just a bridge/access point? Any settings you can tinker with at all or nothing?

It has too many.

I am getting the router IPv6 via DHCP, but the clients/end points are set to autoconfig. I was hoping to keep autoconfig, because I have some white listing on the Internet, but DHCPv6 is also an options for the end points.

TBH, I think it's the apple device routing table that is getting horked. I think host routes don't go away in a timely manner. But the stateful firewall could be an issue. The thing is, only apple devices are affected. Other vendors seem to work great on IPv6.

This isn’t a bug but can Apple please move select outside of the three dot menu on the iPad? There’s plenty of room and it’s that way on the iPhone. Why aren’t they consistent?

iPad Pro 11 did a reboot last night - by itself - not seeing anything in Analytics Data as to a cause.
Even though Display is set to Dark, Icons came up in Light mode. Checking Customize, the setting had flipped from Dark to Default, which should have been Dark, but it was all white.

Saw this before in an earlier beta (not sure which).

Manually cycling these settings fixed things. Back to Dark where I prefer it.

Was it not in use for three days or more?

If so, iOS devices will reboot after three days of no use.

I use it daily. Lots of consumption 😁
News, YouTube, X, etc….

Good idea though …
