Everytime I try to get the music to AirPlay to one of my HomePod mini’s, it will play for maybe 3-4 mins and just stops for no reason. I reset my network settings and did a hard reboot thinking that would fix the issue, but it hasn’t. Anyone else having the same issue? 🤔 I went ahead and submitted the issue via the Feedback app just in case.

Same issue. I noticed that the song is playing still and moving back to iPhone then back to the mini is a quick fix. It seems to only happen when SharePlay icon shows iPhone ->Homepod. Moving the music directly to the Mini seems to fix it. YMV

Same here, workaround is to use Youtube Music for me, waiting that Google correct the issue.

Unable to cast youtube video (Apple TV) and Sound (Sonos) through Airplay.
Screen mirroring and play video breaks the player
Unable to cast on a mac too.

I have an HomePod mini (MY5G2Y/A) upgraded to 26.0.1 (23J362)
  • Not able to AirPlay from any Iphone with iOS 18 or 26.
  • Not able to AirPlay group with Apple TV with tvOS 18 or 26. Or it plays on TV or in the HomePod.
  • Worse performance overall. Any commands feel more slot to reposed.
With this tried to upgrade to 26 all the devices. It was the worst decision. 18 was just way good and never had big issues.

Looks the manual reset of HomePod is the way to go, although dose not fix all the issues. Followed this comment on reddit and now AirPlay is working.
