My wish list:
  • Apply a dynamic motion signature so animation frames are not rasterized fully sharp (e.g. apply a motion signature filter similar to the golden rule "double shutter speed per frame rate" used in film and photography - n.b. not the same as just applying a motion blur filter). This way animations will look pleasing even if frame rates are low. And yes, the current 60fps is absolutely discernable and unpleasing to a human eye when looking at a relatively small screen only because the animations are rendered frame-sharp. My way could still look pleasing even if the 60hz displays dropped down to 20fps or something.
  • Animations don't use up to 50% of its frames in pixel creeping speed ramps
  • Less circles/bubbles (I know they're the natural evolution from oblong shapes)
  • Browser keyboard period key reasonably positioned

What's it going to take to fix notifications... or at least return the ability to dismiss them from the initial pop-up like we once had? A baby step is better than the nothing they've given so far. It's incredible how far behind they are in this very basic modern smartphone function.
THIS!! Always thought it was only me who missed that feature. It was a small thing, but surely a quality of life update it was. Also, would like to see the ability to scrub through the video from anywhere on the screen.

A new name is considered as a feature?
Wow how low has Apple fallen that naming is considered a feature now?
Even new emojis are considered "features".
Everybody getting outraged at Apple making the naming a feature - news flash, it's MacRumors reporting it as a feature - Apple hasn't said anything yet.

And Apple adds emojis because they get added to the Unicode Standard, and Apple always updates to the latest revision. Apple doesn't trumpet them as features, they're merely listed among the changes. News sites like this one write separate articles about them being new features because they know those articles get lots of clicks from people eager to be outraged about new emojis. It's so predictable, having watched it happen for years now.
