I've got a 2017 Commodore SV6 and don't want to part with it or upgrade the head unit, so it's a vent-holder and wishing for Compact Outgoing calls

I do think Compact Outgoing calls is a good way to go anyway. A gamer could just ask Siri to make a call without breaking play, just lose a little screen real-estate. Reading an article while making a call... ...etc, etc, etc... An occasional tap so see seldom used controls/details is surely less intrusive than almost always having to swipe it away...
