Yes, beta 3 to be exact. What you want to say with that?

Yeah, I have no issues with moving from app to app, the issue comes when I want to close an app and instead close the one I’m using. For example when I open the wrong one and quickly open the right one, I slide up to close the wrong one but fail.
Why do you feel the need to close apps?

Swipe up and to the right and it’ll go to the previous app. Or you could just swipe the home bar to the right as well to go to previous app :)
Yeah, I saw another complaint about swiping up and the current app is centered rather than off to the right, on the phone, there’s no change on the iPads. But looking at the images, the other apps are visible and you use the same motion, swipe to the right, as you do with the current app off to the right. So other than a visual change that, to me, is irrelevant, there’s no change in function.

I’ve been nicely surprised with beta 3. The main issue I had, as I watch a lot of YouTube videos full-screen, was that the Safari address and tab bar overlayed the full screen video, and when exiting full-screen the video window on the original page was blacked out, no video essentially, even though audio continued. This has all been fixed in beta 3. This really is the smoothest beta I’ve experience in over 13 years, at this stage of the game. I never put betas on my phone anymore, but I am quite tempted by this one. They could release it as is and I would be happy.

Occasionally this bug happens which I effing love!!!!! It takes me back to db1

Is anybody else having issues with trying to maybe edit a picture and using the cleanup option? For some reason, my screen gets stuck on ‘Downloading Clean Up’. I already rebooted my phone and it’s still doing the same thing. And I already reported it to Apple. Picture is attached.

I don’t think it is a bug, it’s more like Liquid Glass adapting to a different background.

It’s more prominent with the dark mode on. 🖐️

I get what you mean, the thing is that the menu transparency I showed only appears some times, here is a screenshot of how it normally looks like (same menu and background).

Probably a small bug but I undoubtedly prefer the glassy look!!

There are multiple factors at play, like when the beta was installed, whether your iPhone was connected to a WiFi or cellular while hibernating and what apps ran in the background.

Do you remember how long it would last with 18.5?
It might just be an occaionally bug. Battery menu in Settings showed "Home Screen and Lock Screen" used 98% of the battery. I tried again today and it did not happened again. Wrote a report in Feedback Assistant.

Apple music doesn't allow you to play explicit content after a reset of your iOS/iPadOS 26 device, regardless of content restriction been turned off or even explicit being allowed. Devices which got upgraded from dev beta 2 doesn't seem to suffer the same fate. It just happens on a 'clean' install.
On tapping on the explicit song, it opens a pop up stating: This content is restricted on this device. And gives two options to tap on: Settings and Not Now. Settings takes you to the Screen Time page.

I've sent the feedback to Apple.

Speaking of Bluetooth, beta 3 just *might* have fixed an issue with my iPhone 15 Pro that I've had as long as I can remember (pretty much all through iOS 18 and iOS 26 beta 1 and 2). It often would not connect to my Bluetooth devices (AirPods Pro 2, Ford Sync, my (Windows) computer's Phone Link) without turning Bluetooth off and on again. Beta 3 seems to have fixed it (possibly). Although I too have noticed the stutter with audio playback on the Ford Sync (it happened in beta 2 as well though).

Anyone else having problems verifying their bank card for Apple Pay?

It was working before I erased my phone and restored from iCloud.

Now I just get the message to try again. I contacted my bank and they can’t figure it out either.

Thanks for any help. 16pro
I had the same problem and I erased and added as a new card, verified and everything was fine!

I'm having trouble installing iOS D Beta 3 because it's not showing up. It just says I've installed iOS D Beta, even though I downloaded D Beta 2 a long time ago. Does anyone know this and know how to fix it?

It says: iOS is up to date (in German)

I really wish people would stop with the “doNt InStAlL oN yOuR pRiMaRy DeViCe” posts. I have had the 16 Pro Max, I fully understand it’s not going to be at 100% forever, nor do I care. I was simply making an observation that in the month I’ve been on beta, the health has dropped. Thanks :)
Sorry, just felt like it was unnecessary because these are usual things that happen during the developer beta process.
