Anyone got a working Camera Control
Button with zooming in the refreshed Beta 4 ? For me pressing to shoot is ok, but zooming with the sliding feature is broken.
Just gave it a go on the refreshed B4, and using the camera button to zoom in and out is working ok here on my 16 PM. Button is working just as well as it did in iOS 18.

Try a longer press on one of the .5, 1, 2, or 5 selectors & see if the half moon zoom comes up.

15PM iOS26 PB4

Working as expected here, 15PM

I really dont understand. I have upgraded from 18.5 to 26 Public Beta and my 16PM is literally unusable : stutters everywhere, in stock apps and light apps I use such as Pokémon. Safari is so stuttery my phone is now behaving like a 100$ android phone like the other guy said. Enabling "Reduce Transparency" setting didn't help

That’s weird. I have run earlier iOS 26 betas on iPhone 11 and now on my main iPhone 15 (not Pro). Apart from a slightly sluggish animations, like icons “floating” into the Home Screen, everything works pretty well for me. If it still lags for you after a simple and hard restarts, try reinstalling it with an IPSW file from Apple’s developer portal. This will overwrite your current installation, but you will not lose any of your current settings or data.

I was sick of liquid glass and just went back to iOS 18.6 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max last night. I can immediately see the animation speed when scrolling is faster now, but there was zero stutter on the 26 betas. It was just a slower animation. But it did exactly what I was telling the phone to do and never felt jerky. But now on 18.6 I can scroll like lightning. I think some people are just very sensitive to this change and calling everything stutter as a blanket term. I am sure some people have performance issues since it is a beta, but it's really just a change in speed as far as my eyes can tell.

I've just done that too. Spent the afternoon plugged into the work PC restoring back to iOS 18.6. The phone is defiantly much more smoother and no stuttering when scrolling. It's like falling in love with promotion all over again.

Strange that so many people run smooth while others don’t. I’m on a 16PM and had only experienced one issue. Other that that all is well

Is there a quick way to close an open tab in Safari? They have changed the navigation to get to the open tabs now in iOS26. Before I would just select the tab view button and close the one I just had open. Now I have to select the menu button, then the tabs button to get to the same view. One extra step. Not a huge deal but it is going to take some getting used to.

Swipe up starting on the address bar.

For me and a friend from work it is definitly not working for me with the Camera Control Zooming. Tried hard reset, tried normal restart, nothing worked.

I'm having a bug that doesn't notify me of missed calls.
I'm currently on iOS 26 PB.
Anyone else?
15 PM

I came to see if anyone had a similar issue where incoming calls and alarms do not make any sound/haptics. Issue is resolved by restarting the phone. Issue only started happening in the fourth beta.

Don’t run the beta if you don’t have any other alarm clocks and have a job interview or something important the next day lol.

I'm not seeing that issue on the first beta 4. I reverted after some battery issues on the re-release.

I know I was a big shot a few pages back saying that toggling Contacts on and off in iCloud settings fixed my syncing issues. I was wrong. This, at least for me, is going badly. Any contact I add on any device isn't showing up on my other devices.

THANK YOU!
I also was annoyed by this new way of reaching my open tabs. Until now! And now I know it is much easier than before!
You can also long press on the address bar and then select Close Tab from the pop up menu if you’re wanting to close the current tab without opening the tabs browser. It also gives you the option to close all open tabs.

And thank you as well!

Very nice, if you know this exists.
