Any of y’all using the iOS 7 wallpaper with me?

Up until DB5, it worked great. Since I upgraded to DB6, it keeps getting stuck in old states any time I use blur. For example, here are dark mode bubbles with light mode wallpaper. If I unblur and reblur, it fixes it but the bubbles get stuck in place again and they de-sync from the lock screen.

Using safari, on many websites, if I scroll up it’s all good, if I scroll down, a big blank space fills the lower half of the screen. It’s black if the page is black, white if the page is white.

Anyone else seeing this?

Anyone have issues with Calendar freezing up? I’m experiencing this with swiping through the 2 day view, selecting a day from the month view, and changing an event timezone.

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like my phone gets hotter than usual, even to the point of burning when it's charging. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the latest PB iOS 26 installed and my watch is still on 11.1. When I was on iOS 18, I had the watch battery widget on my Lock Screen. After installing iOS 26, the widget option has disappeared. Anyone else have that? The watch still shows paired and I still get notifications from the phone on the watch. Just wanted to make sure I don't need other report as a bug.

As of beta 6 I finally feel that the update is primarily ready for prime time.

Performance? Great. Battery life? Same as iOS 18.6 (for me on the 16PM anyway). Design? Love it (mostly). Glitches? Few and far between. New features? Fun to discover and explore!

Quite possibly the most impressed I’ve been by a major OS revision since iOS 7.👀

Agree with everything except my battery is def worse on the 16 Plus.

Sorry for the stupid question, but is there a benefit to being on the Public Beta as opposed to the Dev Beta? Esp. when Dev is likely weeklies, and updates roll much quicker? (But maybe have the potential to break more things)

Trying to figure out if I should install on my primary 16ProMax and still don't understand the differences in the DB vs PB.

Less risk is really the main benefit on being on the public beta. If there’s a nasty bug in the dev release, Apple can identify it and resolve it before the subsequent public beta release, which is why there is a ~2 day delay between the dev and public beta releases. Otherwise, they are identical builds.

I’m experiencing a bug where keyboard randomly switches from light to dark.
Also when i set a wallpaper in messages app it randomly disappears.

Apart from that all good. Battery life decent

I’m coming from iPhone SE with iOS 18 to 13 Pro with 26.0, so I don’t know what the beta updates are or just part of the improved device, but I like a lot of small things.

Firstly though, I had to get used to the new interface. Still do somewhat, but it’s okay now, because I encounter far fewer bugs in the current release (such as black screen after swiping up from the bottom sometimes).

What I’d still like to see is way better detection of Back Tap. And smoother switching of sound destinations, though that will probably only significantly improve with the coming new HomePod mini. And a much more responsive access to Hide my Email: sometimes it takes more than 10 seconds, even with accessing the menu ‘directly’, using a Shortcut. Apple, just make it a standalone app like you have done with Passwords. Could be great.

I like the interface now that I’m used to it. Previously I thought to myself, if this is such a mess for me, how will it come across to a new user?

I really like the search bars at the bottom. Still adjusting to it but that’s okay.

The flash light turns on on my lock screen when I sort of Force Touch the icon. Elegant solution for preventing accidental activations. I have back tap to turn it off without looking. It does not always register the first time(s) but that’s acceptable for that function, as afterwards I don’t plan to do something else on the phone. It’s still easier for me (than turning off with icon).

After editing a picture: using HDR for the ‘save’ icon makes it stand out, really handy since my vision isn’t great.

Isn't it that time of year when we will see iOS 26.1 Beta (to protect the secrets of the unreleased devices or testing new features not ready yet for September)...not that I want that, but I think the last couple of years it's happened.

I believe it was only (?) last years iOS 18 beta where they tested 18.1 simultaneously …
So I don’t believe they will do that again…

Does the D-Beta normally get released at a certain time like 1:00pm PST? Just trying to set expectations. Thanks
It’s usually released an hour from now (+10minutes since it’s 10 before the hour). Not sure if what that is in US time zones, but I think it’s 10am in CA? It usually appears around 10-15 minutes into the hour.

Which one is this? Can't tell with the blurred background
